Australia GEMS Certification Overview

GEMS (Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards) Certification is Australia's national energy efficiency regulation framework under the GEMS Act 2019. Administered by the GEMS Regulator (Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water), GEMS sets minimum energy efficiency and labeling requirements for a wide range of products. Products covered by GEMS must be registered and meet applicable energy efficiency standards before they can be supplied or sold in Australia.
