Kenya PVoC Certification

PVoC (Pre-Export Verification of Conformity) is a mandatory conformity assessment program for products imported into Kenya. Administered by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) through appointed inspection agencies, PVoC ensures that imported products meet applicable Kenya Standards (KS) or approved international standards. The program requires verification of conformity before shipment to Kenya, with a Certificate of Conformity required for customs clearance.

PVoC certification requires compliance with Kenya Standards (KS) or approved equivalent international standards (IEC, ISO, EN, etc.). The specific applicable standard depends on the product category. Products must demonstrate conformity through testing, inspection, or certification before a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is issued.
