Standards do not apply to fixed-installed backup power systems, on-board chargers, and batteries for electric vehicles. The Lithium Battery Cell used inside the power bank must be UL 1642 certified, and the Battery Pack section must pass the UL 2054 test before the UL 2056 complete machine evaluation can be performed.
